Which cod end to I need for my plankton net

When ordering a plankton net, they’re a few things to consider, one of them being to cod end. We have 2 standard sizes with custom models to choose from. We have our small cod end which works best for smaller nets under 150cm in length and our larger cod end that works with all nets longer than 150cm.

Both options are available in regular or with an added ballast weight. If you plan on using your net for a horizontal tow, then the regular cod ends are perfect. If you plan on using your nets for an oblique or vertical tow, then we recommend adding a ballast weight to help the cod end stay lower than the net during our tow.
