It was brought to my attention that some of our customers were wondering why certain plankton nets of identical dimensions, but with different mesh sizes, had different prices.
The answer is simple: in the past, we calculated the exact manufacturing cost of each net as and when they were requested. We understand that this can sometimes be frustrating and impractical for budgetary reasons.
We are pleased to announce that all standard plankton nets and ready-to-deploy assemblies now have standardized prices based on mouth diameter and net length.
You can now easily find prices for standard plankton nets and ready-to-deploy assemblies directly on our website.
They are organized by mouth diameter and include; 30 cm, 50 cm, 60 cm, 75 cm and 100 cm.
Each diameter size has 3 different mouth-to-length ratios, including 1:3, 1:4 and 1:5.
On each page, you have the option of Net only or Ready to deploy, which includes the net, the bucket with matching mesh and the towing ring with flange.
Once you've chosen the diameter and length of your mouthpiece, simply confirm the mesh size in our list available when confirming your order.
This is the first step in our future improvements to our pricing and website structure.
We'll be adding more standard prices for our most popular models.
