Net recycling service

Climate issues are a constant concern, and Filmar actively contributes to the search for practical solutions. We have established several partnerships with companies and organizations to recycle manufacturing waste and offer a net recycling service to our customers.    

Each net that is returned to us for recycling constitutes one less ghost net at sea or one less load in a landfill. Our team will take care of dismantling the net into its different components and our recycling partners will process them to give them a second life.

For example, netting is turned into outdoor textile products and metal components are resold for industrial use. This service is completely free for our customers and Filmar provides the labour required to make it all possible.

Don’t throw your damaged nets in the sea or in the garbage—return them to Filmar for recycling.
