The main purpose of the Soccer Backstop Goal Net is to prevent soccer balls from leaving the field when kicked towards the goal and thus reduce unforeseen losses and damage.
- The soccer backstop goal net is used to prevent balls that have missed the goal from going too far, thus maximizing playing time of the athletes.
- It is usually installed with 2 steel or aluminumposts of 10 to 20 feet in height that support a steel cable. The net is attached with carabiners to the steel cable and rings to the posts.
- The net is extremely useful when the soccer goal is close to a busy street or when there is a large space behind it.
