The main objective of the Mini Pelagic Trawl is to catch pelagic fish by boat towing

The Mini Pelagic Trawl is used for sampling larvae or juvenile fish in shallow water.
The opening of the net is attached to two
aluminum
bars on the top and bottom, coupled with a float and
weights
to keep the net mouth open.
It can be towed by a small 7 m Boston Whaler style boat with a low-powered winch.
The mini pelagic trawl can easily catch sticklebacks in 2 meters of water and capelin in 10 to 15 meters of depth.
It is designed in 3 sections with different
mesh
sizes to increase filtration and catching.
It is possible to replace the 3rd section of the trawl with a plankton net to sample larvae.

Part 3 (Tail section): 335um
