Elver Basket

The main purpose of the Elver Basket is to capture glass eels during their displacement in water with the use of a boat thereby directly collecting the glass eels

• The elver basket is usually installed on the bow of a small motorboat. 
• The basket is directed towards the elvers as they move down a river. 
• Once the basket is full, it must be quickly removed to keep the catch.
• 6ft wide x 2ft deep x 2ft high with a 6ft pole to attach to the bow of your boat
